The Sea to Sky Gondola is a scenic cable car ride that takes you from the base of the mountain up to a summit lodge. The ride is smooth, safe, and only takes about 10 minutes. Along the way, you’ll rise 885 metres (2,900 feet) above sea level.
The gondola cabins have large windows for full views. Each cabin fits up to 8 people. Once at the top, you’ll find walking trails, viewing platforms, a suspension bridge, and a café with panoramic views.
The Sea to Sky Gondola is located just outside Squamish, a small town between Vancouver and Whistler.
By Car:
Drive north from Vancouver on Highway 99, also called the Sea to Sky Highway.
The journey takes around 45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic.
The gondola is well signposted. It is located just south of Squamish and right next to Shannon Falls Provincial Park.
Paid parking is available at the base of the Sea to Sky Gondola. Rates are $8 for a half day and $10 for a full day.
By Public Transport or Shuttle:

There are three main viewing platforms:

There are several short and long trails at the summit:
Panorama Loop: A 1.3 km loop through forest with beautiful lookouts. Easy.
Wonderland Lake Loop: A 1.6 km gentle trail around a quiet alpine lake.
Spirit Loop: An easy 400-metre interpretive trail suitable for families.
Sea to Summit Trail: A 7.5 km trail that starts at the base and leads all the way to the top. You can hike up and take the gondola down.
In winter, many of the trails are groomed for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Snowshoe rentals are available at the lodge.

Sky Pilot Smokehouse
